Delete your ClipForge data
ClipForge is local-first. Most project data is stored on your computer, so you can remove it directly. Connected services and support records need separate steps.
Disconnect publishing services
- Open ClipForge publishing settings and clear the saved TikTok, YouTube, or Typefully credentials you no longer want ClipForge to use.
- For TikTok and YouTube, open the platform account's connected-app settings and revoke ClipForge to invalidate future access.
- Delete any local publishing job or project records you no longer need.
Disconnecting ClipForge does not delete videos, drafts, or posts already sent to YouTube, Typefully, TikTok, X, or Threads. Manage that content from the service that received it.
Delete local projects
Delete a project from ClipForge, then remove its project folder from your computer if you also want to erase source media, transcripts, renders, manifests, and logs. Check your operating system's Trash or Recycle Bin and backups if you need permanent deletion.
Remove credentials and settings
Clear configured provider and publishing credentials from ClipForge settings. ClipForge removes those values from operating-system secure storage. Application settings and the project index can be removed by uninstalling ClipForge and deleting its application-data folder.
Request deletion of support records
Email clipforge@startkit.tech from the address used to contact us. Use the subject “ClipForge data deletion request” and identify the support correspondence you want removed. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and will confirm when the request is complete or explain any record we must retain.
Do not include passwords, OAuth tokens, API keys, or private media in the request.
